In the Verse Kit Box:
large cardstock shield (photo below)

Review:

Lesson:
Tonight I reminded the students that we were memorizing a large section out of Ephesians chapter 6. Before we reviewed the cards from the last 3 weeks, I mentioned that this week we would be talking about the shield of faith, and asked if they remembered the other 2 items of armor we’ve been discussing (belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness). I was impressed with how many remembered the answer!

After reading through the verse once, I asked if they knew what EXTINGUISH meant. Without exception, they all said “to put out,” and most added, “like a fire extinguisher.”
We then proceeded to say/read and repeat the verse (at least 7 times, as usual), with the student attempting to say it the last time without looking at the card.
