Review/Lesson:
Tonight, we really hit the books of the New Testament, and I was very pleased with how well they did! As a teacher, I would have given everyone at least a 90%, and several would have had 100%!!! We have been working on them off and on all school year, and it has paid off.
We had enough time to review the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:11,12,14,16,17), and then we wrapped up with the Books of the NT again, with lots of praise and encouragement to go along with it!
Kit:
Center and glue the paper Books of the New Testament on to the piece of muslin. Glue a rod onto both ends to complete the scroll. Wait until it is dry to roll it up!
Bible Literacy:
Look at the Table of Contents in your child’s Bible. (Be sure it’s not the alphabetical one!) Be sure they understand where the books are in the table, as well as in the Bible. Explain how when they have them memorized, they don’t have to go to the table of contents and find a page number; they can open the Bible and find the reference faster based on what they know in their head.
